Need a Speaker
A love-letter to sound-system culture from a robot who, quite literally, needs a speaker. Out now everywhere you stream.
Five Jamaican steampunk robots, one irie transmission. Brass-knuckle bass lines, clockwork one-drop, and lyrics soldered straight from the heart of the machine.
The first two singles from the forthcoming album Roots, Robot, Reggae! Streaming links point to CD Baby distribution — if your favorite platform is missing, give it a minute; the bots are still routing wires.

Recorded in an abandoned foundry turned studio just outside Kingston, Roots, Robot, Reggae! is the debut album from RoboRoots — five bots, built by hand, wired for dub. Think vintage valve warmth with a brass chassis, one-drop rhythms you could set a watch to, and harmonies that ring like gears falling into place.
The singles Need a Speaker and Ask Your Doctor are out now. The rest of the album drops when the solder cools.
